Let’s face it, we’re in a world where we simply can’t get away from the screen as a lot of our professional and social communication is digital. I’ve loved using the screen time app on my phone to check in on my screen time usage and have been trying to decrease it- yes I’m victim to going doing a rabbit hole of scrolling on IG sometimes.
Here are some tips on reducing your digital eye strain: the 20-20-20 rule
Take regular breaks every 20 minutes, shift your eyes to focus on a distance object 20 feet away, for at least 20 seconds.
This helps reduce accommodative strain, reminds you to blink, and reset your eyes.
